TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

VitraPrime 0501 is a bonding enhancer for vitreous substrates. This unique chemistry will chemically bond to vitreous surfaces and leave chemical bonding sites to allow chemical bonding of epoxy coatings to the treated surface. The treatment’s uses include the surface treatment of floors, manholes, sumps, and other areas where the adhesion of a coating to a vitreous substrate is suspect. VitraPrime 0501 provides an excellent bonding surface for other Wolverine Coatings Corporation products.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants. For more specific information, consult the surface preparation section contained in the Application instructions.
