TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
TrowelEase 1162 PK is a four-component patching kit used to repair concrete. Specifically, it is used for epoxy overlays, repairing spalled concrete (holes), and resurfacing old or damaged concrete. TrowelEase 1162 PK uses a special blend of engineered quartz silica aggregate and a three-component epoxy binder that provides a high-strength, easy to work with mortar. TrowelEase 1162 PK is an epoxy-based mortar used to patch or overlay horizontal surfaces. Other uses include rebuilding joint nosings on warehouse floors, buildings, parking decks, etc. TrowelEase 1162 PK meets requirements for FDA & USDA inspected facilities.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants. For more specific information, consult the surface preparation section contained in the Application instructions.
