Initiator 5000

Initiator 5000 is used as the curing agent for many polyester resins in the ChemShield 5000 series.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Initiator 5000 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide in phlegmatiser for the curing of many polyester resins in the ChemShield 5000 series. Initiator 5000 gives consistent room temperature performance and works well with Accelerator 50 (Cobalt Type) and Accelerator 53 (DMA Type) accelerators.

Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants.
