TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

ChemShield 1731 is a sprayable, high functionality, 100% solids, A.H.C. (Advanced Hybrid Cycloaliphatic) Phenolic Novolac Lining which exhibits excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals, including various concentrations of solvents, caustics, dilute organic acids, and inorganic acids. The integration of flakeglass reinforcement gives the coating excellent resistance to permeation, good abrasion resistance, and resistance to Cold Wall Effect.  ChemShield 1731 is well suited for sewage pipe, treatment plants, petroleum refining and storage, and chemical plants using a wide range of chemicals (including acid plants, water treatment, hydro metallurgy, and metal plating facilities).

APPLICATION DATA SUMMARY
